From our farmers
This coffee comes from the Cajamarca region in the northwest of Peru and has been grown there organically by farms belonging to the CASIL cooperative, founded in 1966, and having currently around 240 members. Benefited by its equatorial climate, high altitudes, temperatures between 16 and 20 degrees Celsius as well as loamy soils, Cajamarca offers ideal natural conditions for the cultivation of strong and very balanced coffees.
CASIL cooperative gives all farmers access to trainings, financial support, infrastructure and equipment to produce an ecological coffee of high quality and thus achieve higher prices for the coffee.
Also stocked at The Culinary Collective, Sankt-Johannis-Mühlgasse, Nürnberg, Germany.
